I was lucky enough to work with the Budzon family on previous weddings. I had a good sense of Emily’s excellent taste and was excited by the challenge to create a design that was unique to her for her special day. Emily and Pete had a classic and timeless vision for their wedding, but with a modern twist.
I created handmade invitations, a lucite seating chart, menus, table numbers, event signage, cake topper, and programs for the wedding and collaborated on the décor design and setup.
Especially unique to Emily and Pete’s wedding was the invitation design. Emily had a vision to create lucite invitations, but shipping a material like this posed challenges with fragility and cost. As a professional problem solver, and a believer in Emily’s beautiful vision for her wedding, I sourced a new material to print the invitations on, a thin plastic material. This was a totally new process that I had never attempted before.
As with all of my clients, I thank them for trusting in my creative process and craft to create a quality product that is beyond what they could have possibly imagined. I always love when clients present an idea that I have to figure out how to incorporate, it really makes the process fun for me!
The material worked beautifully and the end result gave the invitations a truly unique look and feel!
